Hello, I'm Luda, I am registered with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) and am a member of the Royal College of Podiatry. I pride myself on having a very patient centred approach, taking time to understand the needs and requirements of each patient and delivering the very highest level of care.
I provide a different range of treatments from basic nail & skin care to more advanced treatments: verrucae needling, nail fenestration and other specialised treatment options for fungal nail infection based on medical evidence.
I also provide MSK (muscular skeletal) assessments and prescribe prefabricated orthotics made for each person individually with adjustments if required as well as providing basic vascular and neurological assessment and diabetic foot assessments. I am fully competent in nail reconstruction with LNC system for damaged nail caused by trauma or fungal infection.
I keep my knowledge up to date and maintain my continuous professional development by reading professional magazines/articles, attending webinars/ study events provided by presenters from different specialist areas of podiatry.
I am extremely passionate about my chosen work and enjoy the daily challenge of meeting lots of new people with differing foot care needs.

Introducing Wilde-Pedique, the ultimate solution for achieving beautiful and healthy toenails. This UV sculpting gel system is specifically developed for toenails. The highly elastic formula provides a smooth flow that ensures easy and precise application. LCN Wilde-Pedique UV sculpting gel allows for correcting deformities, disguising discoloration, and reshaping the nails to give you the perfect look. To top it off, the formula is acid-free and not only improves the aesthetic appearance of your nails but also takes care of their health. How? Wilde-Pedique gels contain special antimycotic ingredients that effectively prevent nail infections and reduce the spread of germs, ensuring the overall well-being of your nails.
What's the difference between Wilde-Pedique nails and acrylic nails?
Wilde-Pedique are superior to acrylics because of their properties. Acrylics are rigid, are not breathable, use strong chemicals for application, and often cause damage to the underlying nail. This is the opposite of nails, Wilde-Pedique which are designed to promote foot health.
Can I have Wilde-Pedique if I don't have a nail on a toe?
As Wilde-Pedique binds to nail not skin, there does need to be some natural nail present for binding - at least 15%.

Dermal filler for the feet
Dermal fillers are a specialised treatment using Hyaluronic Acid that can be used to treat painful corns and calluses. Corns are areas of high pressure that develop over bony prominences and in between toes that rub together. The filler is injected underneath a corn to create cushioning at the bony prominence and reducing the pressure at that area. This helps to take the pain away, delaying its return and in some cases preventing the corn from returning.
If you suffer from persistent corns or areas of painful callus on your feet, we can offer dermal filler treatment, which is an injectable, highly viscous Hyaluronic Acid that can resist foot pressures providing pain relief.
What is the procedure?
A local anaesthetic is given either in the foot or in the area to be treated so that no pain is experienced when the fillers are being administered. A Hyaluronic Acid based Dermal Filler is then injected into the site underneath the corn or callus in a procedure that can take up to 60 minutes.
The area is then dressed and padded for comfort and you will be asked to return within 48 hours for re-dressing. Over the counter pain killers can be taken post treatment as the area can be uncomfortable for several days. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance, and is therefore biocompatible with very few side effects.
What are the benefits of Dermal Fillers?
There are many benefits associated with using dermal fillers as a method of pain relief in podiatry including;
- The results can be long-lasting
- It provides relief from painful symptoms and discomfort
- It increases mobility
- It improves patient mental and physical well-being
Are Dermal Fillers safe?
- Dermal fillers are safe as long as they are carried out by a fully qualified HCPC Registered Podiatrist.
- Hyaluronic Acid is s a sugar molecule that's found in the skin, eyes, joints, and connective tissues. It acts as a lubricant and shock absorber in joints, and helps the skin retain moisture and giving it it's 'plumpness'.
- Dermal Fillers are low risk and minimally invasive.
Dermal fillers are an established aesthetic procedure and involves a highly viscous form of Hyaluronic Acid to 'cushion' painful lesions, reducing pressure over the painful areas and decreasing the production of callus and corns caused by friction.
It was initially introduced in the UK to protect at risk people with diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis from foot ulceration, and has been successful in providing long term comfort to people with painful lesions on any area of the toe, the ball of the foot or even the heel.
Injecting Hyaluronic Acid causes a response in the body that stimulate the formation of collagen and draws fluid towards the area, which creates a comfortable, natural cushion between the bone and the skin and can last up to 18 months in the area (although this can be vary and depends from the location, type & size of the corn)
Who can benefit from Dermal Fillers?
- People who stand on their feet for long periods of time
- Anyone suffering from chronic painful corns
- People who often wear high heels
- Runners whose feet are often impacting hard surfaces
Who should not have Dermal Fillers?
This treatment is not suitable for:
- Transplant patients
- Those suffering from Lupus, Scleroderma
Are there any possible complications?
There are minimal side effects as Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. However, the following side effects may occur:
- Fainting or reaction to the anaesthetic
- Post operative pain and discomfort lasting 4-5 days
- Infection/redness, swelling, small lumps/ bruising to the treated area
- Reaction to the filler, although this is very rare.
The cost is £180-250 per treatment
