Dr Kilcommons is a HCPC registered and chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist, accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist, and accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist.

After 15 years NHS service, specialising in adult mental health and early-onset psychosis with adolescents & adults, Dr Kilcommons now works exclusively in private practice. She founded Happiness in Mind practice in 2006 offering effective Clinical Psychology Services and Resilience Training to help people achieve their full potential and lasting happiness and contentment.She leads a team of highly skilled Clinical Psychologists offering a range of evidence based psychotherapies to overcome various issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, trauma & PTSD, addiction, physical health issues and lots more.

Dr Kilcommons established the Resilience in Mind Centre following her innovative work with Premier League Football Clubs in 2012/13. She continues to work within the sporting arena and outside to help people stay mentally tough under pressure to ensure peak performance and well-being.

Dr Kilcommons has an interest in research, has presented at national conferences and has published work in several peer-reviewed journals. She has also served as an examiner and clinical supervisor for the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology training programmes in the North-West. Her fascination with holistic approaches to healing also led her to qualify as a Voice Dialogue Level 3 Facilitator, Reiki Master/Teacher and Emotional Freedom Techniques Level II Practitioner.
