Stephen has a special interest in conditions of the upper back, neck and shoulder and has become skilled in working with patients to correct postural problems that can lead to pain and disability.
Speaking about his work Stephen says: Osteopathy is a holistic form of primary healthcare, which considers the whole person when treating an ailment. I try not to treat just the pain but to work with the patient to try and prevent the condition recurring. Compared with being unable to work or maintain your normal day to day activities a few sessions of osteopathic treatment can be very cost effective, many patients see an improvement straight away and a small number of visits may solve the problem permanently.
Many people are surprised to learn that osteopathy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, not just bad backs, and that were qualified to give lifestyle advice too.
